Sound Healing Meditation

Facilitated by Liz Mandeville

Cost: $25 pre-registration / $30 at the door

This is a repeating event on every 3rd Thursday of the Month

Thursday, February 21st, 2019

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Treat yourself to a relaxing and healing experience. While lying in a comfortable position on the floor and using an optional eye mask, Liz Mandeville will guide you on a sound journey using crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, shamanic drumming, and other various instruments.

Sound baths are meant to facilitate a shift in your brain wave state, so that a deep state of meditation and internal healing can occur. This is perfect for beginning meditators that have not yet learned how to facilitate a shift in brain wave state on their own.

More experienced meditators will find their ability to reach a theta state (deep meditation) or even a delta state (where internal healing can occur).

Liz Mandeville

Sound Healer & Musician

Liz Mandeville is a lifelong musician, a graduate of Columbia College, with over 30 years of experience in creating healing ambiance, weaving rhythm and melody to create emotional catharsis. Liz has traveled the world writing, recording and performing professionally. She is a respected member of the Chicago Blues Community and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013. She is a Grammy nominee, an award winning songwriter and beloved artist popular on three continents. She’s also a practicing yogi and sound healer.

Although exploring the mystic properties of sound has always been central to Liz’s life, a trip to The Integratron for their magnetic resonance crystal sound healing bath led Liz down the path toward practicing the Yoga of Sound Healing. The amazing results of that experience, three days of blissfulness, opened Liz’s mind to the possibility of using sound to recreate balance and bliss in listeners.

She has since studied with John Beaulieu, the father of Tuning Fork therapy, and learned his techniques for healing. Liz has also studied with Silvia Nakkach, author of Free Your Voice and Head Mistress of the Vox Mundi schools. Using Silvia’s technique of chanting, toning and medicine melody combined with Dr. Beaulieu’s use of tools helped Liz craft her own style.
