Women Meditation - Infinity Holistic Wellness & Yoga

Women have been gathering in circles since the beginning of time to share stories and find connection. But in this era of increased digital connection and noise, what sort of connection are we truly making with ourselves and others?

This monthly, in-person experience weaves together several mindfulness practices designed to inspire relaxation, reflection and dialogue around a theme relevant to our lives as women. Participants will be guided in a meditation and reflective writing, followed by a circle share rooted in indigenous traditions to inspire mindful listening and tap the collective wisdom of women in attendance.

Take a pause to find strength within ourselves and each other. Beginners to meditation and frazzled minds are welcome to join!

This month's theme: INTUITION

Erica Bray - Infinity Holistic Wellness & Yoga

Erica Bray is a yoga, meditation and mindfulness teacher. Her intention is to help you cultivate new curiosity and awareness so that you can change your relationship to stress – to heal, evolve and ultimately transform. A graduate of Northwestern University (B.S., M.S.) and Mayo Clinic’s Wellness Coaching Training, she is a certified yoga teacher with more than 1,000 hours of specialized training. This includes Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) training through UMass Medical School’s Center for Mindfulness and in-person studies with renowned teachers such as Jon Kabat-Zinn and Sharon Salzberg.

Erica grew up in a household where meditation was the norm and deeply knows the positive effects it can have on a Type A personality living an always-on lifestyle, as it helped her navigate her own relationship to stress during a successful 20-year career as a global media-marketing executive and travel journalist.

After taking a life-changing sabbatical across Nepal, India, Thailand and China to study with diverse teachers, including time at ashram, Erica decided to transition out of corporate work to focus on something more meaningful: helping people find their unique path to optimal wellness in a mindful way. In her free time, Erica enjoys cooking with her partner Ryan, sampling Chicago bakeries and organizing travel adventures.
