Partner yoga can be practiced not just by those that are romantically involved, but by friends, acquaintances, or strangers. It's mutually beneficial for both people. Both partners are fully engaged in their own experience and work together supporting one another. Partner yoga is for anyone interested in improving fitness, releasing tension, strengthening relationships, and having a good time.
Thai massage is one of the oldest healing arts. It is performed on a soft floor mat. Receivers are fully clothed and no oil is used. Tight joints are opened, energy flows freely, and breathing is enhanced. A meditative state becomes part of the process, as both giver and receiver focus on breath and intention.
Catherine began her yoga journey in 2010. She was drawn to the power and flow of Ashtanga yoga and has since branched out to other styles. She has developed an interest in Thai massage, studied therapeutics with Gabriel Halpern and adjustments with Rich Logan. She has both a 200 hr and an advanced 500 hr yoga teaching certification through Moksha Yoga Center. Her classes combine vinyasa flow with held poses focusing on alignment and breath work. She strives for her students to cultivate strength, flexibility, and balance in both body and mind.
