Ayurveda and Yoga are inseparable sisters complementing one another in a perfect harmony. These two ancient traditions have been practiced for more than 5,000 years. The daily self-care practices of Ayurveda were designed to support those in seeking the path of yoga.
Ayurveda also known as the "science of life" offers holistic methods of healing which are based on lifestyle, diet, medicinal herbs, and yogic practice and breathing, and more. Its approach is to find balance and well-being through the body and mind connection.
Whether you are a beginner in yoga practice or a seasoned practitioner curious about how Ayurveda can improve your yoga practice, these workshop series include:
- Yoga practices to lubricate and protect the joints, staple yoga postures for well-being and balance, detoxifying breathing practices, and grounding, calming meditations
- An exploration of the Ayurvedic doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha
- Ways to apply Ayurvedic knowledge to busy, contemporary life, including tools for sound sleep, improved digestion, relaxed nervous system and more
