Need to spice up "date night"? Tired of the hitting up the same dating apps? Or, does your Friday night usually involve you & your partner getting delivery from one of the same few restaurants, then eating it in front of the TV while you watch Netflix? Maybe it's even "Netflix + chill"-- minus the "chill."
Yep, we have been there.
Get out of your date-night rut! Once a month on a Friday evening Kirsten + Ryan will co-host a fun, approachable and relaxing date-night yoga event where you and your sweetie will be lead through a partner yoga sequence involving opportunities to learn hands-on assists in your yoga practice that you may definitely want to try at home. (*Note: you will NOT be asked to switch partners. This night will be all about the two of you connecting.)
After connecting with breath, movement and physical touch--you will be lead through a relaxing guided meditation involving a thought-provoking self-inquiry related to mindfulness in relationships.
A final closing activity will help the two of you connect physically and energetically one last time (and I dare you not to laugh during this one). And because it is Friday night--you are welcome to stay for a glass of wine and a light snack before you head home or go to your hotel (with much more "chill" and much less "Netflix," no doubt....)
Date Night Yoga is open to all partnerships - dating, married, same-sex couples, straight couples, new acquaintances , or just met on the street before class (make sure you pre-register).
No yoga experience required! All you need to bring is your date, a sense of humor and comfortable clothes that you can move in (if you plan to go out afterwards, there is a changing room you can use at the studio). We have water, mats, and refreshments for after the class.
