Restore and Renew: A Mindful Start & End to Each Day
May 6th, 2019 / 6:30 - 8:00 PM
You will gain the tools to energize at the beginning of your day, then decompress at the end of the day. If you want to integrate mindfulness into your everyday life, wake up with a sense of wellness and end the day on a mindful note--then this workshop is for you.
When we begin our days with a positive mindset, we will bring this with us throughout the day making us more compassionate, patient, and better communicators. When we end the day with wellness and self-care, we have a more restful sleep, and are most likely to shine the next day as the best version of ourselves.
We will begin with a meditation, then move into the workshop which will include gentle movement and breathing exercises for the morning, then end with a writing exercise which you will use at the end of the day. The workshop will conclude with a 30 min restorative yoga class. Please wear something comfortable for yoga, yoga mats and props will be provided.
Format: Lecture/discussion, meditation, yoga postures (asana), breathing exercises (pranayama)
Molly Black, RYT 200
Molly, founder of Wellness With Molly is a yoga and meditation teacher passionate about empowering people through mindfulness. She is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher and has been practicing yoga and meditation for ten years. Along with her mindfulness practice, Molly has experience working as a LEED consultant and environmental auditor as well as various startups including running a co-working space.
Molly's passion for social impact led her to a career in wellness, she's always interested in working with people to develop their mindfulness practice and is excited to keep learning!
